Review for North Beach Citizens, San Francisco, CA, USA
NBC offers food, clothing,and needed supplies to at risk homeless and low income people. The Food Pantry provides valuable food assistance each week. Formerly homeless Charlotte Bell ,along with many others, are now in housing due to the case management team. A street cleaning crew is managed & supervised by NBC. I have been a volunteer for 20+ years, and have not seen or experienced age, race, income,or gender discrimination- people of all ages, races, genders, and income levels have come through the doors,and have been treated with respect.

focus more on homeless outreach for vulnerable older people, and women.
