I was introduced to the Starfish Foundation & Healing Warrior Hearts through a fellow veteran that was going through an MST (Military Sexual Trauma) group with me at the VA.
She shared with me that, the weekend retreat, would be no cost to me because I was a veteran. She also shared with me what a difference her weekend had made in her life. I was intrigued, so I went online and signed up for an MST weekend. It was the beginning of my emotional healing. Patricia (the founder & an instructor) was able to direct me back to where my original trauma took place, and helped me to finally recognize and deal with that pain in a safe space.
I can’t say enough about the Starfish Foundation, Healing Warrior Hearts and all of their volunteers they all made a huge impact on my life and for that I am eternally grateful!
