I’ve not got a bird from Burge Bird Rescue, but I can tell you that it doesn’t matter what kind of bird needs help, Burge Bird Rescue will do whatever they can to help. The number of times they have gone out to ponds, lakes, etc., to rescue ducks that people got as gifts for their children, who then decided they didn’t want them anymore, so they dumped them. The hoarding of birds left when a person died or moved, they were there to rescue them. They are always willing to help, no matter how far the drive is, if only there were more rescues like this one, especially for birds. I’ve been taking my birds to the vet service for over 24 years & I don’t trust anyone else. If they can take care of my birds for all those years, you know what they can do for birds needing rescued.
