This was in 2020. Hurricane Isaias was coming and I needed to evacuate my 3 ponies, several chickens 4 cats and my dog. Problem, I only had my minivan. I put everyone in cages but didn’t have room and thought I was going to have to leave my ponies. The lady at the feed store told me about Red Horse Running. They helped me find a trailer and connected me with a woman who had room in her barn for all of the animals. It was a bit chaotic but Red Horse Running answered the call at the last minute to make sure me and all my animals were safe even while a tornado was touching down on their farm! These people would make any first responders proud! Thankfully all of their animals stayed safe and me and mine all survived. I think I would have been okay if I sheltered in place but it certainly was a lot less stressful for me to keep everyone together.
