Review for Simpson Housing Services, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, USA
I have volunteered for the past couple years with serving a monthly Saturday morning breakfast as well as a few dinners. The men and women at the shelter are very appreciative of us getting up at 4 am to serve them a hot meal. We have included youth in our serving and they have come away from the experience with a deeper appreciation of what they have and what their parents provide for them.

seeing the appreciation of the clients served. We provide the hot meal but they give back so much more to us. The clients are humble and have dignity. We have learned that many of them have been in our place and it didn't take much for them to be homeless. We are one step away from being in that situation.

Get more groups to help serve a hot breakfast every morning - including Saturday's.
