I have been volunteering with One Spirit for over 10 years and see the great work they do first hand. One thing that sets them apart is that they work in partnership with the Lakota community. One Spirit is there to provide resources and support but it is the Lakota that do the work and are empowered to provide culturally-relevant services. I believe that their approach is what makes the organization so impactful and I feel honored to be a part of it.
