This facility has become a family favorite. The concept of hands on exhibits is a key factor in creating interest from young and old alike. We have taken our grandchildren to the museum and watched them push native language keys, pull on purse seine nets, row a boat and locate landmarks with a sliding magnifying glass. Visiting the Midway school and seeing the way classes were conducted over 100 years ago raised some interesting points about today's curriculum and classroom decorum. This is an important addition to our community.
