I went to Statement Arts my junior year and couldn’t stop coming back to help out. The staff and the people I met along the way completely changed my life and how I viewed art. They gave all of us an opportunity to work on music professionally and acting. On top of that I had a space and an audience to perform! This happens for many kids that don’t have the money to pay for other programs. It’s been a great experience and one I’ll never forget. I was prepared to audition for colleges, I got the help I needed for auditions, and for the process to apply for colleges, They made the process 10 times easier for me, and it was because I had that kind of support I got into SUNY Purchase for BFA Acting. I know I can always come back to visit and if I ever need anything, these are the people I can come back to.
