I volunteered with the Planet Startup entrepreneurial event at LAUDERHILL 6-12 STEM-MED school program in Lauderhill, Florida where the local chamber of commerce and business community teamed with Planet Startup to create a "Shark Tank - like" extravaganza where student entrepreneurs competed for money, prizes, jobs and partnerships with local business leaders, as well as grants to grow their business ideas. The Fort Lauderdale Board of Education attended, and adopted some of the program material for their own after-school programs. Full media coverage and it was just an amazing job . Thank you Planet Startup . . . a real nonprofit working in Florida, around the US, and around the world. Giving youngsters a real opportunity to succeed.
