Since adopting our first pug and then becoming a foster several years ago, I have seen this organization’s commitment to honoring its motto of Any Pug, Any Age, Anytime. It is a wonderful group of all volunteers who do everything they can to help the pugs (and a few others) in Texas and the surrounding states. Their activities range from rescuing animals from cruelty/neglect/owner surrenders to treating and housing those that need it until a suitable forever family can be found.

As a volunteer I have been able to be a part of numerous rehabilitations including some unimaginable cases of neglect where the dogs made a full recovery. I feel the role of a volunteer is an important one and gives each dog the opportunity to trust people, which in turn increases their chances of adoption. I really feel that I am making a difference when spending my time helping this organization and plan to be involved for many years to come.
