Review for The Center For Anti-Violence Education Inc, Brooklyn, NY, USA
When I signed up for karate classes at CAE, I just expected to learn karate. I've done that, but I've also gotten so much more! CAE is such a wonderful force for good in the community, and I am honored to be a participant. In addition to continuing studying karate, I've begun training to become a self-defense instructor at CAE so that I can pass on what I've received, and help CAE's mission.

increasing my own confidence in my skills and ability to respond to and hopefully defuse potentially threatening situations, and giving me conflict resolution and life management tools both for myself, and the ability to teach others these tools as well.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
offer more programs, both onsite and offsite - CAE's work is so important, and I wish more people had the opportunity to experience its offerings to the community.
