I have donated to Shanti Bhavan for several years now because I believe in the way the organization works towards economic stability for high poverty children. Hearing each child’s amazing journey from small village to Shanti Bhavan to colleges and universities around the world is an inspiration.

When my friend and co-teacher at a
Boston MA area school told me she was moving to India to work at Shanti Bhavan, I wanted to know what kind of school would compel her to do this. After reading about and hearing about Shanti Bhavan, I now understand how special a place it is. I look forward to following the stories of the students and supporting the work of the school in the years to come.
