Until I learned about OHBD, I struggled to figure out how to give back to my community. I contacted the team to express my interest, but I did not anticipate a prompt answer. I'm always curious about how the leaders welcome and nurture volunteers. Since 2019, I've been helping at Bahir Dar American Corner as a ToT lead volunteer in the country innovation Coding(Computer Programming) program. Currently, OHBD is running CSBootcamp which is very inspiring and beneficial for youth in Ethiopia. The program was effective, and I gained new abilities as a result of my involvement. I'd like to express my gratitude to the founder and other board members for providing me with this chance. In the future, I hope to be able to offer more.
