I was introduced to Emily and GiveNKind by chance when a new neighbor was donating a couch and needed help getting into Emily's truck (when Emily was still running all around town by herself to get donations). I learned all about the organization and was inspired about the mission and cost-free aspect to both sides involved. I loved hearing all about Emily's plans for the future and tried to help along the way in any way I could. We loved the organization as a family as there were so few options available for entire families to participate in volunteering. We sorted donations and packed boxes together. During the pandemic when it wasn't safe to all be together in one place, we continued to help by testing donations - puzzles and games - to ensure they were complete and worthy of donating to deserving charities. Overall, it is a great place to support!
