We adopted our very first pet Rory from HSHV. She has brought so much joy to us. While adopting a puppy was seemingly impossible especially during the pandemic , hshv made that process easy for us they had clear instructions on how to apply and we we’re overjoyed when we received a call back. The volunteers and staff at hshv helped us navigate our first meet and greet with Rory(then Marley) and did not rush us into making a decision, the paperwork was straightforward and they were available for online support even after the adoption. We’ve since then recommended the puppy love train to some of our friends and two of them ended up adopting from HSHV as well and can attest to the fact that they were amazing. I’m always amazed by how much good work they do and how prompt they’re. Cannot thank them enough for everything they do from saving puppies to racoons!
