I volunteered with this organization in 2018 for two months and it was by far the most incredible experience of my life! My expectations were exceeded beyond what I could imagined.

I was privileged and blessed to be on campus with this team and students.
I was impressed from the moment I arrived on campus to the (sad) moment I had to leave by the consistent level of quality education, business acumen, respect, support for all (students, colleagues, volunteers and visitors), open and transparent communication, and the ability and attitude of the entire Shanti Bhavan School community. These attributes were always demonstrated through the lens of constant kindness, compassion, optimism and integrity. Integrating with this organization provided a clear reminder of the power of education and that we are all the same.

What creates perceived 'differences and opportunities' is often not within anyone’s control. What Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project Inc. does is intentionally tear down barriers through education to impact/create sustainable change not only for the student, but their family, community and globally. This vision is a concrete example of the measurable impact of how perseverance, humbleness, resilience, love, and the desire to create positive change by lifting others without ego can be.

This organization truly represents what it means to lead by example, live and walk through action and demonstrate accountable, vision and change each day. I am grateful to have met Dr. George, Ajit and the entire team. These students truly represent the good that our world has to offer and will become in the future with them as active participants.
