I've enjoyed more than a decade of watching CAA's adult students of all differing learning abilities grow in the classroom and take those skills into increased connections with the local and global community. This is an historic model, moving these adults into the kind of equitable, lifelong learning provided to and often even taken for granted by others. The ability to continue higher education throughout life is crucial to these adults with Down syndrome, autism, and the whole beautiful range of learning abilities. CAA meets students where they are, on any point of their journey, and they move forward together at their own pace as CAA Cardinals in a liberal arts course of study. We are all ready for things at different times in our lives but it's hard to imagine education not being available when we need it to move forward toward our goals and needs. Now everyone has that opportunity-when Cardinals support each other, everyone flies!
