RootDown LA (RDLA), a youth-led non-profit organization that empowers youth to become leaders through healthy food ventures in South Los Angeles. The Go-Campaign supports RDLA by taking our DEMAND side (culinary program) to another level their contribution supported our remodel kitchen to continue training youth into food justice through culinary skills, so they become advocates for other youth to increase their veggies preference, increase food knowledge, and self-confidence. The Go-Campaign contributed to our SUPPLY side (garden program) by helping fund the FarmPOD a multi-use container that lives in our garden. RootDown LA honors the philanthropic work that the Go-Campaign helps/supports and we make their mission part of our own when we serve our communities.
