EST as a volunteer organisation is one that every similar group around the world can be inspired by and aspire to model. The level of research, knowledge and reach that EST has to help educate ,locate and document rare breed equines is exemplary and the partnership we have built with Victoria Tollman allows us to share knowledge from Australia and learn about breeds that are here in a global perspective. There is no bias every breed is treated as a conservation imperative and the amount of work that they have done to secure remnant herds is exceptional. As a Director of Rare Breeds Trust of Australia and long serving committee member on rare equine breed society committees I am greatly aware of the time and energy the EST volunteers must put it. This is and organisation that has global influence that is of immense value to partner organisations. I absolutely with the utmost respect thank Victoria and her volunteers who make this valuable work possible.
