The project’s rich media library highlights humanity’s best role models, offering inspired stories of perseverance, courage, kindness and compassion. As the Director of Education Cannot Wait, the UN’s global fund for education in emergencies and protracted crises, I was honored to receive the 2020 Global Educator Award and look forward to continued collaboration with MY HERO to highlight the many unsung heroes that make it possible for the most marginalized girls and boys to receive a safe, inclusive and holistic education.
