I was very fortunate to adopt a dog from Bobbie after sandy. Buddy was a god send sent to us when my sister was seriously ill. Buddy stayed at her side 24 hours a day. He got her through everything until she lost her battle 8 years after buddy became part of our family. Buddy’s picture was on the front page of the daily news’s when dogs were given up after sandy. Bobbies Freeport location was very helpful when choosing a dog. They made it very easy for us to make our selection. Since my sister passing I have supported bobbies request for help with seriously ill dogs or those simply forgotten. I plan on adopting another dog when I retire In eight months.
