I have been lucky enough to help with Shelter Transport Animal Rescue Team in a very small capacity of fostering some of the rescue dogs before they go to their forever homes. So from that viewpoint I can see what amazing work these people do. Literally thousands of dogs and cats have been saved from horrendous situations. The START team are tireless in their commitment to save both cats and dogs from certain death and to give them the wonderful life they deserve in happy and loving homes . How they carry on in the face of such adversity is heroic and yet they are tireless in their commitment, kindness and compassion.
