When my tenant died I needed to find a home for his donkey, and the Newfoundland Pony Conservancy took her in. She was happy living with the other donkey and the ponies. Now some of the Newfoundland ponies have become volunteer social workers, living at the Carl E. Dahl House and helping people who are recovering from substance abuse.
