ABC is a stellar nonprofit with far-reaching impacts in the area of bird conservation. They continue to draw attention to the biggest threats to birds, and have a multi-pronged approach to addressing those threats. This includes policy/legislative action, land management, and public outreach and education, among many other actions. They are also committed to diversity, as demonstrated through the efforts to support a scholarship for Black and Latinx birders, and promoting accessibility for all to the natural environment.
