Leukemia Texas is such a blessing to families impacted by leukemia. I am very grateful for the people at Leukemia Texas and their devotion to helping patients and their loved ones.

I am so thankful for Leukemia Texas. The generosity and support of the organization for my twin sister, Sarah, and our family has been humbling. Sarah was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in 2020. She researched and found out about Leukemia Texas and applied for scholarship aid. Leukemia Texas met a need for our family and helped Sarah share her story with the public on Morning After with Jenny Anchondo. It was more than monetary assistance. The people of Leukemia Texas showed love towards us and gave us hope. This charity provides light to so many going through difficult times with cancer. God called Sarah Home with Him after about a 1.5 year long cancer battle. After her passing, Mandy Flamming kept me and my family connected to Leukemia Texas by inviting us to the Beat Leukemia Ball during which they aired a personal testimony video Sarah recorded before she passed, talking about Leukemia Texas’ impact on her. This was a sweet way to posthumously honor her. I will never take this organization’s mission, work, and heart for people for granted. I hope to participate in volunteer opportunities moving forward. I want to give back because Leukemia Texas’ service for my sister and myself has been so meaningful. Leukemia Texas is a beacon for positive change!
