CARE is definitely more than meets the eye.
Besides being located in the beautiful, wide open spaces of the Texas countryside, CARE's purpose as a facility –providing for the welfare, health, and quality of life for the animals IN their care– is amazing. All those associated with it (Founders, Supervisors, Volunteers, Interns, Donors, etc.) are incredibly diligent in their work and some of the funnest people you'll meet :) The animals are happy, healthy, and loved. Who could ask for more?
