Since March of 2020, the Redwood City Education Foundation has been at the forefront in addressing the hardships that local families have had to endure due to Covid19. The foundation started a Covid relief fund to help families with their day to day needs as well as rental assistance. Since then, it has been helping to fund mental health counselors for the community's hardest hit population...recognizing that stress and trauma can effect the academic performance of children. The foundation continues to find new and innovative ways to meet its mission of improving the academic performance of underserved children.
