Several years ago Steve Spiro of START stepped in to rescue our beloved Honey, a dog who was on the brink of being euthanized in a shelter because she had been rejected by her humans when they learned she had a heart murmur. We adopted Honey and she has given our family the best years of our lives! There are many, many of stories like ours because START has given a second chance to thousands of throw away dogs and cats. We will always be grateful.
