Helping others to unwind the effects of trauma is a passion and a calling. From as early as I can remember I’ve been consumed by the welfare of others. So much can be gained through an open mind and gentle approach.

Having shared my personal story on a global scale, I’ve had the privilege of working with and learning from people of all walks of life. Each and every day I’m reminded of how similar we really are to one another. We all want to be loved and feel valued.

When a teenager in a juvenile detention facility spoke for the first time in two years and shared his story of severe childhood abuse, I knew we were onto something special. Whether it’s a father who opens up about his own dysfunctional upbringing at a family art show, or a young girl who gathers the courage to show a scar during a field trip outing, or even a teacher who finally realizes that delivery is far more valuable than the actual message, we are encouraged by the power of compassion and the human spirit.
