I have participated in the ride event for several years. The money raised provides bikes for kids whose families would not be able to provide a bike for them. At the ride event the bikes are assembled and given to these kids along with a helmet, t-shirt and bike safety training. What a great way to get these kids started riding the right way. This is a great organization that does not pay any of its board memebrs so more of the money can go to the bikes and gear.
