A few years ago while walking in Princeville Kauai my daughter and I stopped to chat with a woman walking two dogs with Adopt Me jackets on. She told us all about the work the Kauai humane society does. My daughter heard about a transfer of dogs coming to the Seattle area and saw that the pup she wanted was coming to her nearby shelter. She was first in line and adopted her! We both are continually amazed by the outreach work KHS does to transport animals off island and always tell people of the wonderful work they do. I always feel my donation is valued and I worth it!
