I make annual donations to three freedom oriented foundations. Of the three, IJ is my favorite because their primary focus is on representing and fighting for individuals, in local, county, state and federal courts, who’s rights have been denied. Issues include free speech, the right to earn a living, unlawful government seizure of property and many other government denial or interference with a client’s constitutional, and otherwise, legal rights. All such representation is provided free to the client.

The IJ cases typically save individuals their home, life savings, right to be paid for their service to others, etc. Just as important, these cases often lead to changes in laws. Changes that benefit all citizens in each court’s jurisdiction, usually much sooner, if at all, by other means.

IJ’s work and success helps me maintain some degree of optimism that government power can be controlled when individual citizens stand up for their rights.
