We visited the Kauai Humane Society in August 2021. We participated in the Shelter Dog Fieldtrip Program. We took out Manny the shelter dog for a fun day. We went to the beach, the rainforest, and shops to get shaved ice. It felt wonderful to give a lovely dog a day out. The Kauai Humane society is a great organization who truly love the animals in their care. If you can't adopt, then this program gives you the opportunity to help a dog and support the organization. If we are lucky to go back to Kauai, then we will do this again.
