Review for Big Apple Greeter, New York, NY, USA
My family visited NYC in April 2005. I read about B A G in a guide book and thought it would be helpful to have a greeter. I'm sorry to say I can't remember our greeters name, but she was wonderful. She had complimentary subway tickets and had us hopping on and off the subway in no time. She took us to Chinatown where we weaved through the mazes of streets and small shops, stopped at historic cemeteries and walked up wall street, all while pointing out architecture we surely would have missed. We had two children and she managed to make it interesting for us all. The tour ended with a city view from our greeters apartment rooftop. It was the best way to experience NYC for the first time! I would highly recommend it.
