I have worked with nonprofits for years and never have I seen two people more dedicated, loving and hard working than Jeff and Sybil of Cochise Canine Rescue. They both work tirelessly day and night to care for the animals that reside at the rescue, most of which are in need of levels of care that make them the ones left behind when it comes to adoption. The dogs often arrive at the rescue in need of medical help, like Humpty Dumpty, needing to be put back together again, who were scheduled for euthanasia. Thanks to the tireless efforts at fundraising these dogs get the best of care imaginable and are able to live longer lives than expected.

I cannot imagine when or how much sleep Sybil and Jeff get when often round the clock medication is necessary. Often I cannot keep my eyes dry when reading the stories about the struggles the dogs have gone through to reach this safe haven.

The world is a far better place with Cochise Canine Rescue taking in those whose needs are often overlooked due to choices being made to accept dogs more suitable for adoption by the majority of rescues.
Sybil and Jeff’s devotion to those in their care is what makes a Great Nonprofit!
