I had no idea what Beacon House in San Pedro was until it became a part of our family. My child's struggle with addiction led him to discover Beacon House and start a program, that would last a full year. Knowing that an organization like this is out there for men is reassuring. They are saving lives. Lives of son, fathers, brothers, friends. Lives of men who deserve second chances, or third....or more. I can tell you from a parent, it is not easy to let your child go for a full year, without any contact, but what that child gains is immeasurable and worth the wait. May the work at Beacon House continue for as long as is necessary and may God bless all who work there and reside within their walls. Love, Mom
