I love Kauai Humane Society!!! The staff work tirelessly to help our ever growing stray & abandoned animals. The staff is devoted beyond their job descriptions. The outreach to public w their community clinic, free adoption events and low cost spay/neuter. Kauai is different than other places we are a finite space and remaining a "no kill" shelter is tough! They are committed and we are better for it. I was a volunteer on sight for about a year and now share their social media posts on my social accounts. Aloha & Mahalo nui loa!

I am a volunteer with Kauai Humane Society! I enjoy my time when I am there! Filling food bags, cleaning kennels, loving on the kitties/cats! I love doggies too but work mostly w the cats. I am so happy they are expanding their campus and renovating their buildings. The staff are so compassionate and energetic about what they are doing for our tiny island's animals. Big love to all that are part of Kauai Humane Society!

I volunteer at Kauai Humane Society (KHS) and it's been one of the hardest volunteering jobs I've ever had. I know that for the short period of time I am there, I am contributing to one of the most worthwhile organizations on Kauai. I see the devotion and compassion this staff has to not only helping these animals to live but to thrive!!! The dedication to enrichment and helping these animals find their furever homes are truly worthwhile. I have done everything from cleaning kennels, to helping with mailing to putting crates together. I feel like I have made a somewhat small contribution but these hardworking folks deserve more credit than they are getting. It's not easy work but it is rewarding when you see that animal go from scared to living its best life.
