Review for Save A Forgotten Equine, Redmond, WA, USA
I have been volunteering at SAFE for two years. I started with a 3 hour shift once per week and quickly found myself thinking about the people and the horses all week long. Now I spend about 15 hours per week there and it feels like home to me. SAFE truly understands how to create community and make people feel appreciated. This all creates the foundational support for helping the staff assess, care for, and rehabilitate/train the horses to set them up for loving and successful forever homes. I love SAFE and will be with them as long as I can.

I've been volunteering at SAFE since January and honestly Tuesdays at SAFE are my very favorite of the week. The community, the commitment, the practical care and resourcefulness of the organization and the staff is unprecedented. I've volunteered at many organizations and SAFE is by far the one that creates an environment where the volunteers are appreciated and supported so that we can be our best selves to help the organization. Oh, and the horses are freaking amazing!!!!
