I have volunteered at RSVP Suffolk for 5 years. I find the work to be invaluable to me and to the people I serve by helping them with Medicare questions. The program also fulfills other needs to people in the community. First they helped me and now I help them.

I became acquainted with this program when I was on the receiving end of the services they provide. I needed help with my health insurance when i came to the state and met with one of the volunteers. It was most helpful and reassuring and I have now joined to provide this assistance to other people. I find the people most dedicated to helping others in the many capacities RSVP serves.
