Review for Davenport University, Grand Rapids, MI, USA
It was a thrilling day when I found the acceptance letter in my mailbox to Davenport University. However, it was that much better when I discovered I was also the recipient of a scholarship to help pay for my tuition.
I attended Davenport University as a single-mom, working during the day, and trying to finish my Bachelor's degree at night. They offered an accelerated program which I was very grateful for. It wasn't long before I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing and graduated with highest honor.
My scholarship eased the heavy burden of student loans and allowed me to focus more on my education rather than worrying about how I was going to pay for it. Without my degree, I would not be where I am today -- a successful entrepreneur -- managing partner in a non-profit consulting firm.
This is my story. But there are so many others. Today I contribute to the scholarship fund at Davenport University to help those who cannot afford higher education on their own. It's the least I can do -- for someone provided that amazing opportunity to me.

It was my privilege to attend Davenport University and learn from the very talented professors who were still working in their industry. To my good fortune, I gained real-world knowledge and practical training so that I was ready for the workforce upon graduation. I wish that tuition was more affordable for students, but understand that a school needs to be able to pay for the expenses of providing a higher education.
