In the wake of the pandemic, the need for safe and healthy play in schools has never been greater—and Playworks absolutely delivers. Equal parts impactful and innovative, the talented team at Playworks is on a mission to make daily play a reality for as many kids as possible, and does so in ways that ensure long-term, sustainable change. I've been fortunate to volunteer with Playworks for nearly eight years and I am impressed daily by how well-run the organization is at every level.

Playworks is as effective as it is inspiring. Over the past seven-plus years of volunteering with Playworks, I've seen first-hand the incredible transformative power that play can have at elementary schools. Kids at schools served by Playworks are excited to be at school and feel safe and included, which translates to more successful academic outcomes and the development of critical social and emotional skills that serve kids throughout their lives. I am proud to continue serving Playworks as a board member and donor!
