I came in contact with Project Hawaii, Inc. through a college course where I was able to study the company and give a thorough business case analysis. Once the course finished, I kept thinking about the program and wanted to know more about the company and how they were doing during the pandemic. I reached out to the director and was able to start a relationship and begin volunteering. The one thing that I’ve been able to see firsthand is how dedicated the company is towards the keiki on the island of Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. Whenever I contact the company to check in they are always coming back from some fundraising event, community outreach, or building homes to help those dealing with homelessness. It’s been heartwarming to see dedicated people advocate for so many children who don’t have a choice with their circumstances. The organization helps so many and does so with a humble and selfless attitude. I’m looking forward to more years with the nonprofit and am excited for all the growth and happiness they provide!
