My daughter wanted a Sheppard for Christmas. Kristen from Rezdagrescue.org showed us Leon (Kristoff from Frozen litter). Brought him home for meet n great with our Boxer, Sierra. We adopted him Jan 2017 at 12 weeks. Shots, neutered, microchipped, everything. 2 years later, my beloved Sierra passed away. Leon went into a terrible depression after loosing the only mother he knew. Barely eating, not playing, no interaction with family. After 2 months, I called Kristen for a suggestion to get him a friend. We went over, and Arya (Mina) went right up to him and us. Another sleep over, to test them out. It was love at first sight. Though Leon was 2yrs old and a giant compared to Arya 10 weeks, they played together so well. He brought her balls and toys, she climed on him, so cute. She had a hernia that was repaired during her spay. And when she got sick shortly after we adopted her, Rezdawgrescue paid for vet, it was covered in the contract.
They have been unseperatable ever since.
