Beauty’ Haven is the most wonderful rescue I’ve ever been privileged to follow or even know about. The love of all animals runs through the veins of Theresa Batchelor and every volunteer there. But horses are their passion. Horses who are hours away from certain death are literally loved, prayed over and nurtured back to life. I’ve watched happened multiple times and prayed for many of them. It takes a certain heart along with hard earned knowledge to be able to run a rescue well. Theresa would love to take them all but she also knows for the sake of the horses already there and the ones she will rescue, she must be able to balance her funds. I don’t know how she does it but NO horse ever goes without whatever is needed for good health. She often will even sleep in the barn with a sick horse. She is an angel to the horses. We desperately need more people like her and more rescues like Beauty’s Haven Equine Rescue.
