My husband and I have been volunteering and fostering for PAALS for three years now. Our hearts have split wide open, seeing the way this mission changes peoples' lives. These precious pups are so devoted and so eager to help. The first time I saw a PAALS graduation, I cried so hard, listening to the heartfelt stories from the clients who now had a PAALS dog. People who couldn't leave their house were able to get back out in the world with the help of their PAALS service dog. Facility dogs also are an important part of the mission. PAALS dogs go on to help in pediatric physical therapy units or schools with the special needs children. We feel blessed to have found this organization, and I can't say enough about how important it is to support them. PAALS dogs selflessly enable people to live again.
