I am a volunteer at Rezdawg and was helping with a Spay and Neuter clinic in Arizona. A Good Samaritan brought In a puppy she found on the side of the road. He was having a hard time walking, ears recently (and poorly) cropped, and road rash up his entire body. It appears he jumped or was thrown from a moving vehicle. Rezdawg rescue wasted no time taking him to a local vet for immediate treatment. There was never a mention of the cost that this pup could add up to. After being diagnosed with a fractured pelvis, broken right front leg, broken tail, and bumps and bruises, Rezdawg Rescue took him to Colorado for care and surgery. I ended up fostering him after his tail amputation (and neuter). He did not require surgery for pelvis or leg- only crate rest. Rezdawg made sure he had excellent medical care and follow up. I ended up falling in love and adopting that little guy. Rezdawg helps so many animals move on to a great life!

I have adopted 3 Rezdawgs since 2015. All were in foster care so I was able to get a good assessment from the foster prior to meeting the dogs. The one dog I adopted had already had over $3000 in medical bills for a broken tail, pelvis and leg. The adoption fee of $450 was still a great deal knowing all the dogs and cats they take on, regardless of medical issues. The application is long and detailed but not hard. The adoption contract is DocuSign and super easy. The contract states you have 14 days to return minus $50. I love this rescue and all the work they do.
