Review for Women's Intercultural Center Inc, Anthony, NM, USA
Full disclosure, I have never received services at the Center, however, I am a donor and I will explain why.
I often donate food, clothes, and other miscellaneous items. I used to donate to the goodwill until the report came out about how much money they made especially the CEO. I wanted to find a place to donate to that isn't profiting and making their CEO rich. Yes they give people jobs, but they could do better.
I was recommended to donate to the Women's Intercultural Center by my friend at the post office. She told me that about the work the Center does so I decided to pay a visit. Upon visiting I met a young man who gave me a quick tour of the Center and shared their work with me. This was back in 2019 and I was absolutely enamored with their work and he explained to me what happens with all of the donations. I decided after that tour and the presence of the center was so welcoming that I decided to donate my items there.
Since donating I've met countless others who were helped by the center. Either by receiving their services or receiving free food and clothing, and I have two friends that shop their little thrift store. They tell me all the clothes are sold for 25 cents and I think that is amazing along with that all the profits go straight to the center because the entire center is operated by volunteers. I love that and continue to donate. You don't have to go far to meet someone that has been impacted by the center.
I highly recommend donating to this organization and shop their store and attend their classes to help support them. Lastly, if you need help, don't waste your time with others and go to them and they will change your life.
