As an avid outdoors person, I was doing what I loved to do…hike! It was a beautiful fall day in Oct. when my feet slipped on loose gravel & I fell 80 ft. down a mountainous terrain shattering my T7 vertebrae. Now living a different way of life as a paraplegic and years of set-backs and surgeries, I am so ready to “GET UP, GET OUT, GET TRAIL BIKING” in the beautiful Colorado mtns. with my TrailRider handcycle . Thanks to High Fives Foundation I get to again! That’s independence at its best & living my best life with a disability!
