Review for Wild Tomorrow, New York, NY, USA
My husband and I are so grateful to have found the Wild Tomorrow Fund and become Ambassadors for the organization. My husband used to live in South Africa and was a safari guide in the Sabi Sands who relocated to NYC to be with me - needless to say conservation is very near and dear to him and subsequently to me as well and he needed to find a way to stay connected once no longer in the bush. In addition it is so important to us that we do as much as we can to save our natural world for our son's generation and beyond.
There are many ways to go about conserving nature but in our opinion WTF's tactics are spot on in order to have a successful outcome - focus on conserving habitat while in parallel working/supporting the surrounding community ultimately produces a thriving ecosystem. This is evident on WTF's land with how many baby animals were born this year on the land, diverse animals seen on the camera traps and how well the flora and fauna are doing. While the land is not enormous it is very important as it sits between a very large reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is extremely biodiverse. Not to mention the orgs founders John and Wendy are two of the most selfless people I have ever encountered - so passionate about the cause putting everything they have into WTF.
