I value the work done by Friendly Water because it is solidly grounded in systems thinking. Their approach is not a rush to solve a problem. Rather, they are really good at seeing the larger picture and the longer story, which includes recognition of long term impacts of different approaches. I also think it's important that they emphasize local participation and involvement, that they listen to people through a process called Appreciative Inquiry.
